Have you used sandpaper your whole life… but never like THIS?
In today’s video, I’m building one of the most unique sanding block tools you’ve ever seen — a handmade creation that combines woodworking, woodturning, metalworking, jewelry making, and hand engraving into one masterpiece.
This is not a normal sanding block.
It hides a secret mechanism, a custom-turned brass knob, a beautifully engraved copper logo, and a design that makes sanding faster, easier, and more accurate for woodworkers, craftsmen, and DIY makers.
I turned my drill press into a lathe to shape the wooden handles and machine the brass parts. Every detail of this tool is made by hand — from carving and smoothing the oak body to crafting the brass hardware and engraving my BSI logo on a copper sheet using traditional jewelry-making techniques.
