Walmart Loss Prevention Follows Shoplifter Outside, Then Calls Police

On July 31st, 2024, Walmart loss prevention followed a suspected shoplifter into the parking lot after watching him walk out with a stolen bottle of cologne. When the suspect changed shirts and tried to walk toward the nearby gas station, loss prevention called police, and that’s where this bodycam footage begins.

Officers located the shoplifter, who claimed he “didn’t steal anything,” but the evidence told a different story. A search of the vehicle revealed an empty cologne box and packaging, and the suspect, who admitted he was already on probation, quickly found himself in more trouble than expected.
