Never have I seen a smokier touchdown! AirBridgeCargo's B747-8F arrived into Avalon Airport earlier this morning loaded with this years super bikes for the championship being held in Philip Island. AirBridgeCargo are really rare to see in Australia. Aside from a couple of occasional contracts at Avalon, they're few and far between.
Avalon also has some fantastic vantage points to capture some footage from too. From the whole approach to unloading, somewhere has you covered from start to finish. With AirAsia X beginning flights at the end of the year, it's going to be interesting to catch some regular heavy aircraft from some of their amazing spotting locations!
