Reading is one of the country’s busiest interchange stations — and when things go wrong here, the entire network feels it.
When a train breaks down on platform 15, engineers and station staff are under pressure to fix a serious electrical brake fault before delays spiral out of control.
A tense day behind the scenes at one of Britain’s most vital rail hubs.
