Songkran Meets Wan Lai in Pattaya — Pure Beachside Madness! 💦🇹🇭
Thailand’s Songkran holiday flows seamlessly into the beachside Wan Lai festivities, and Pattaya turns into a full-on celebration of food, music, dancing — and nonstop water fights.
We moved off the main road and into a side street (“Soi”) to see if the vibe matched Beach Road… and wow, Soi 7 went berserk.
Foam parties, legendary water battles, savage kids armed with ice-cold pails, fabulous characters, and unforgettable service at both Luxor Bar and Aom’s Beer Bar.
When the sun went down, we grabbed fresh pad thai right on the beach and soaked in the start of Wan Lai — Pattaya’s wildest continuation of Thai New Year festivities.
