Hail damage on the farms in most of this area. Trees have fallen over in Pretoria today and over the last few days due to the storm. Heavy rain and hail in Centurion and Potchefstroom today. The Orange River is in flood and rising quickly about 12 kilometres from the Vioolsdrif Border Post. Go on a slow boat cruise in the canal between the Waterfront and Cape Town. We visit the Cango Caves near Oudtshoorn with Brom Africa. Also, the beachfront in Durban. Hyenas walking along the road near Lower Sabie in Kruger National Park today. We will also show you several other locations across South Africa today.

A cold front moving over the southern Cape today will bring cooler temperatures and light showers to the region. Scattered storms remain a risk across the northeast, while heavy rain is likely along the eastern escarpment in the Eastern Cape Province, KwaZulu-Natal Province, and Mpumalanga Province. The South African Weather Service has issued a Yellow Level 4 warning for severe thunderstorms, hail, flooding, and strong winds in Gauteng Province, Mpumalanga Province, and southwestern and southeastern Limpopo Province. Yellow Level 2 warnings are in effect for severe storms in KwaZulu-Natal Province, the eastern and central Free State and North West, the northern Eastern Cape Province, central Limpopo Province, and Mpumalanga Province. Residents in these areas should stay alert for possible flooding and hazardous conditions.
