There's something magical about the sound of wind chimes at night when the world calms down and only the sounds of nature remain.
I hope you enjoy these wind chime sounds. In this video I've blended the wind chimes with real recordings of a forest at night. You'll hear crickets, distant frogs, light winds and also the sound of Boobook owls which have a mellow hoot that echoes through the trees. What you hear in this recording is exactly what it sounds like where I live.
What do you think of the nature sounds in this video? I always find it a bit tricky to decide how loud to make them. I know that some people loooove nature sounds, whereas other people prefer them to be very quiet or completely absent. How do you feel about the nature sounds? What would you have me do differently? As you may know, I compose music and record nature sounds for a living, so your feedback is especially important to me.
The wind chime sounds in this video are called “Sanctuary Chimes” and are available from Windsong Chimes. (Note: This link is not an affiliate referral, it is for your convenience only):

About These Wind Chimes
Sanctuary Wind Chimes have a calm, friendly tone that blends perfectly with the sound of nature. I hope these relaxing sounds bring a peaceful, carefree atmosphere to your day, or your night.
You can also use this video for deep relaxation, mindfulness practices and stress relief. I recommend listening with headphones at a very quiet volume, with your eyes closed. As the wind chime sounds begin to play, take a few deeps breaths to ease your body and mind into the experience. You can either listen while lying down for a period of rest and rejuvenation, or sitting up straight for a formal meditation experience.
