Peshay Yaman Studio Mix 1994 (2025 Remaster)

Let's go back to 1994 for the last release I did for the Yaman mix series. Remastering these mixes has reminded me how quickly the scene was changing at that time. The differences in the music from 91 - 94, all considered hardcore rave, was incredible. 1994 was the start of jungle/drum and bass really breaking through into the big time.

Innovation in the scene, with new production techniques, was really shining through with many different influences from sound system culture to soul and jazz. It was a very expressive time, and one I remember with fond memories, as we were innovating and contributing to this new genre.

Enjoy this digitally remastered mix, for 2025.
