The Sonoff Basic Gen5 is finally here — and it’s a game changer. 🚀
With Matter support, it connects locally and cloud-free — no need for apps like eWeLink. It works with everything: Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings, Home Assistant and more.
Even better, the Gen5 works with no neutral connection required at the light switch box. That makes it perfect for older homes or cramped backboxes where space is tight. You can make your original light switch smart.
And with Magic Switch mode, it’s even easier: just place a simple wire-link across the light switch, and the Sonoff Basic Gen5 can be connected directly at the light fitting instead.
