Magnetic Core Measurements

Published at : 18 Dec 2025

#257 In this video I look at how a unknown magnetic core can be characterized. After going over the initial theoretical aspects, I proceed to test the inductance factor, initial permeability and complex permeability of a set of cores. While I already know what the cores values are supposed to be, its still important to observe how the measurement method will impact the values.
