Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), located just a few miles from the famous Las Vegas Strip, is one of the busiest and most distinctive airports in the United States. Serving as the primary gateway to Las Vegas, LAS connects this iconic entertainment capital to cities across North America and around the world. Its unique position as a tourism-driven hub makes it a key player in both domestic and international aviation.
LAS features multiple passenger terminals and four runways, allowing it to efficiently handle millions of travelers each year. The airport is a major base for carriers such as Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines, and Frontier Airlines, while also hosting an impressive array of international airlines including British Airways, Lufthansa, Korean Air, Copa Airlines, and WestJet. In peak years, LAS has served over 50 million passengers, reflecting its critical role in connecting people to one of the world’s top travel destinations.
I created this video to give aviation enthusiasts and curious viewers an up-close look at the dynamic operations at LAS. From the wide range of commercial aircraft and airlines to the non-stop flow of arrivals and departures, Las Vegas offers a vibrant and unique plane-spotting environment. My goal was to capture and share the energy, variety, and nonstop action of air travel at LAS—bringing the sights and sounds of this high-traffic desert airport to viewers everywhere.
