Hello everyone. My name is Tama.
This time I built a Hasegawa Jaguar XJR-9 LM.
I was able to purchase this kit new from Joshin, my usual source. Considering the price, the accuracy wasn't very good and I felt it was quite difficult to build. There were a lot of burrs, the panel lines were shallow and required engraving, there was no masking for the windows, the clear parts didn't fit perfectly... It was so difficult to believe it was a kit sold in modern times that my mental strength couldn't hold up until the end.
In the end, I just sprayed the clear coat without sanding it down. It was a busy year-end holiday, so it was quite a difficult job.
The finished product has a dignified appearance and brought back memories of that time, but I regret that it ended unsatisfactory.
