In this PADDY’s LOCK & LEARN, we’ll walk you through the installation of the UCS-CL30 cam lock. 🔧 Hardware Needed:
• Philips Head Screwdriver
• Pliers
• UCS-CL30 Cam Lock
Installation Steps:
1. Remove the existing cam lock (pliers may be needed).
2. Perform a full operations test to confirm the UCS-CL30 for smooth operation, including its Lazy Cam Technology for 360-degree rotation and non-key retaining convenience.
3. Slide on the PAC-BAND™ and any required accessories (bezel, anti-spin disc, cover plate) depending on what the application requires.
4. Insert the UCS-CL30, tighten the securing nut, and install the cam and cam stopper in the correct orientation.
5. Secure with the star washer and screw, then test by turning the key to ensure proper function.
💡 Troubleshooting Tips:
• If the UCS-CL30 rotates in the wrong direction, check the cam stopper positioning.
• If the cam lock differs from the provided cams, explore PACLOCK’s cam expansion packs for additional solutions.
