How To Bath A Persian Kitten 🛀

Step by step guide of How to bathe a Persian kitten:
Before doing anything bath related, trim your kitten’s nails 💅
1) Put your kitten in the empty bathtub every day for 20 minutes with toys for a week to get them used to the bathtub and let them feel safe and happy in the tub, pet them and talk to them while in the empty tub🛀
2) Fill the tub with warm (not hot and not too cold water) to their shoulder height WITHOUT kitten in the room🛁
2) Turn water off and bring kitten into the room and put kitten in the water. For a few minutes just pet kitten and talk to kitten. Let them know everything is ok👍🏻
3) Take a cup and pour water on them and massage to get water into their coat💦
4) Massage shampoo into their coat🐾
5) Rinse kitten the best you can in the tub of water with a cup. Once you have removed all the shampoo you can in this manor. It is time to slowly turn the water on. Give kitten a couple minutes to hear the running water 🚰
6)If you have a sprayer on your tub you can use the sprayer otherwise you can hold kitten under the running water to remove ALL residue. Rinse, rinse, rinse. It is very important to get all of the Shampoo out🚿
7) Towel dry your kitten as best you can removing as much water possible💧
8) Time to blow dry. You can blow dry your kitten in the sink on a towel. If your kitten absolutely won’t hold still for the blow dry you can put the towel and the kitten in a large plastic Tupperware container to blow dry this way while petting your kitten to let your kitten know everything is ok💨
9) If your kitten acts as though bath time is more like tornado time, they do make dryer boxes you can use to dry your kitten in. Again, if you decide to use a dryer box, before using it to dry them, put them in it with the dryer off for a few minutes everyday for a week to get them used to it🌬️
10) Now it’s time to comb your kitten😻
