Published at : 17 Dec 2025
Witness aviation history brought back to life! This video captures a breathtaking flying display of a Flug-Werk Fw 190 A-8/N, a meticulously recreated, brand-new build of one of World War II's most iconic fighters. Featuring an original Luftwaffe paint scheme, prepare
for 3.5 minutes of raw power and incredible agility as this "Butcher Bird" carves through the sky!
The original Focke-Wulf Fw 190, known as the "Würger" (Butcher Bird), was a game-changer when it first appeared in 1941. Designed by Kurt Tank, its powerful BMW 801 radial engine, heavy armament, and blistering roll rate gave it a fearsome reputation and a significant edge over early Allied fighters like the Spitfire Mk. Vb. Pilots loved its sturdy design, excellent visibility, and stable handling, making it a truly formidable opponent.
But this isn't a vintage restoration; it's a modern engineering marvel! Flug-Werk GmbH famously tracked down original blueprints and built a limited series of these incredible aircraft from scratch. While visually almost identical to the WWII originals, this Fw 190 A-8/N utilizes a modern, reliable Shvetsov Ash-82 radial engine (a similar 14-cylinder design to the BMW 801), allowing it to fly with the performance and character of its historic ancestor.
In this video, you'll experience:
Incredible close-ups of the Fw 190 in flight.
The distinctive roar of its powerful radial engine.
Demonstrations of the legendary agility and roll rate that made the Fw 190 a legend.
A truly rare opportunity to see a practically "new" WWII fighter perform!
Don't miss this chance to see one of the most significant warbirds in action. If you love classic military aviation, warbird displays, or the sheer engineering brilliance of WWII aircraft, this video is for you!
