flydubai launches (May 22, 2025) its Ab Initio Pilot Training programme in partnership with international flight training providers. ✈︎
The programme offers aspiring aviators with little or no flying experience a pathway to become Second Officers on flydubai's Boeing 737 fleet—part of their "workforce strategy to meet the growing demands."
Ab Initio Programme Highlights:
• Open to age 17+, High School Diploma.
• Rigorous screening tests (incl. aptitude, cognitive, psychomotor, medical)
• Multi-Pilot License (MPL) pathway.
• Comprehensive Training: 18–24 months (ground, sim, flight).
• First cadets expected: Q4 2025.
