For 7 years (yes 7 years) I have dreamed and lamented daily over owning a Lotus Tuned Proton Satria GTI ... that day has finally arrived. (Ok, it arrived in May 2025 and I've been keeping it a secret) but you get the point.

The ULTIMATE Malaysian Hot Hatch with a 1.8L engine, breathed on by powerhouse LOTUS, is finally mine after finding a relatively good one for sale on Facebook Marketplace for £1400.

I was straight on the train (literally) and on my way to HubNut territory of North Wales to go and pick it up.

Yes ... of course Dad needs to do work on it and YES of course there will be more videos of us making it better. Oh and it has 8 days MOT left. What could possibly go wrong?
