BOEING 747 The Power of the Queen! Engine Roar, Takeoffs & Landings Compilation
Published at : 17 Dec 2025
Seen here is the massive Boeing 747 taking off and landing in all its glory. Known worldwide as “The Queen of the Skies” or the “Jumbo Jet,” this iconic aircraft earned its nickname thanks to its enormous size and incredible passenger capacity.
In this video, you’ll see multiple Boeing 747s — from the classic 747-400 to the modern 747-8, including both passenger and cargo variants (as well as passenger aircraft converted to freighters) — showcasing their immense power and timeless beauty. 📹 Sit back, turn up the volume, and enjoy the incredible sights and sounds of the Queen of the Skies!
The Boeing 747 made its first flight in 1969, and over 1,574 were built in total. The final 747, a 747-8F (freighter), was delivered to Atlas Air on January 31, 2023, marking the end of more than 54 years of production. Luckily, we can still enjoy these incredible machines through videos like this one! 😄
The 747-400, introduced in 1988, offered advanced technology for its time — featuring a two-crew glass cockpit (no flight engineer needed) and improved engines:
- Pratt & Whitney PW4000
- General Electric CF6-80C2
- Rolls-Royce RB211-524G/H
It typically carried 416 passengers in a three-class configuration and could fly up to 13,940 km (7,285 nmi) with a maximum takeoff weight of 875,000 lb (≈ 370 tonnes).
Sadly, the passenger version of the 747 is becoming rarer as airlines retire them in favor of more fuel-efficient twin-engine jets. Still, the Boeing 747 remains one of the most beloved and recognizable aircraft in aviation history.
