This was a pleasure to capture – See LNER B1 61306 ‘Mayflower’ working double-headed with BR Class 8 loco 71000 ‘Duke of Gloucester’.
See the LNER B1 loco arrive from Bath Spa with the coaching stock onto Bristol East Depot after turning at St Philips Marsh HST Depot and Bristol Temple Meads – The locos are then both serviced before forming up double-headed to make the return journey back to Three Bridges and Southall.
See all the moves as the light drops through the afternoon before the locos depart just as darkness falls.
